Tracking plan
The short list of events a product sends, with names, properties and where each is captured.
Autocaptured clicks show activity but not progress. A tracking plan names the 5 to 15 events that matter (sign-up, activation, payment, key actions), their properties, and whether they fire in the browser or on the server. Payments and sign-ups belong on the server: ad blockers and closed tabs do not lose them.
