Software houses in Gdańsk and the Tricity, ranked for 2027

Best software houses in Gdańsk and the Tricity

Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot form one market; Clutch has no city page for them, so this list comes from the national Clutch listing filtered by office location. I read the Clutch listing in full, marked the paid positions, and checked every company with an office here in the National Court Register, its latest financial statement and the job boards. Of the 70 companies with an office or a listing here, 32 meet the criteria for a software house with a real local team. The 9 highest scores are ranked below. I sell the alternative: one senior engineer working with AI agents.

In short: The highest-scoring software houses in Gdańsk and the Tricity for 2027 are Ciklum (score 82), INNOKREA (score 77) and Framna (score 77). The 0 to 100 score combines court register data, the latest financial statement, Clutch client reviews, GoWork employee reviews and open roles on the job boards. Paid Clutch positions do not count.

The ranking

The order below is the score from five axes: transparency (seat in KRS, filings, known owners), client reputation (Clutch rating weighted by the number of reviews), stability (profit, revenue, age, employee reviews), specialization and activity (open roles on the job boards). Weights and the full method are on the guide page.

Financial figures come from the latest filing of the Polish company. For subsidiaries of foreign groups they can be far from the size of the real business. Read the pros and cons, then open the sources under each entry.

All companies in the data set, with the same score. Companies without a confirmed office, sole traders, body-leasing firms and product companies are listed but not ranked.

Who is not in the top 9, and why

Paid placements and “serves the city” without an office

On the Clutch city list the first positions are bought with ads (links through ppc.clutch.co) or a “serves” entry. These companies have no office in the city according to KRS or their own site, so they are not ranked here.

None in this city.

Struck off the register or in liquidation

They still show up on other people’s “best of” lists. Here they appear only in the full table.

None in this city.

Body leasing, product companies and other services

Renting people into someone else’s team is a different service from delivering a project. A product company, a marketing agency or an SAP partner does not sell software projects either. They are in the full table with a label.

  • Seargin
  • Efisco
  • Idego Group
  • JSD Solutions

On the city’s Clutch list, but based elsewhere

Clutch shows them on this city’s page, but KRS and our data do not confirm an office here. They are ranked in their own city.

None in this city.

Ranked 11th and below

They qualify but score lower. Their full rows are in the table below; the gap between 10th and 15th is often a few points.

  • Exposit

Too little client evidence, under 10 people, sole traders

Without 5 Clutch reviews or 2M PLN of revenue in a filing there is no fair way to compare a company with the rest. That is a data gap, not a verdict.

What they charge

On Clutch, agencies with an office in Gdańsk and the Tricity most often declare 50 to 99 USD an hour. 0 positions on the city list were paid placements or “serves the city” entries from abroad, usually at 25 to 49 USD. The rate is what the agency bills; the developer on your project is paid less than half of it.

For comparison, my own rate is 36 to 54 USD an hour (45 USD base, pricing). The cost estimator shows what a project like yours costs with and without coding agents.

Check any agency yourself in 10 minutes

  1. Find the legal entity in the National Court Register: the seat, the share capital and the shareholders. An office here with a seat in another city is a sales office, not a team.
  2. Read the last financial statement on rejestr.io: revenue, profit or loss, and whether it was filed on time.
  3. Check the VAT white list: active, and the name matches the contract.
  4. On the Clutch list hover over the company link; a link through ppc.clutch.co is an ad. Then read the reviews themselves.
  5. On GoWork read the employee reviews, not the stars, and look for layoffs and rotation.
  6. Ask who exactly will work on your project, and check those people on LinkedIn.

Questions

What are the best software houses in Gdańsk and the Tricity in 2027?

By the score on this page: 1. Ciklum (82), 2. INNOKREA (77), 3. Framna (77), 4. Digiteum (77), 5. Codeq (74). The score adds up transparency in the court register, client reviews on Clutch, profit and stability in the latest filing, specialization and current hiring. The full table shows every company checked.

How much does a software house in Gdańsk and the Tricity cost?

Most agencies with an office in Gdańsk and the Tricity declare 50 to 99 USD an hour on Clutch, with minimum projects from 5,000 to 25,000 USD. My own rate as a senior engineer working with AI agents is 36 to 54 USD an hour.

Why is a well-known agency not in the top 10?

The full table shows every company with its score. Known names drop when the last filing shows a loss, when Clutch reviews are few, or when the company rents people instead of delivering projects. Some have their seat in another city and only a sales office here.

Did any company pay to be on this list?

No. There are no paid placements and no affiliate links. The only business interest is mine: I sell senior engineering as the alternative to an agency.

How often is the data updated?

Every entry shows the date each source was checked. The plan is a full refresh every quarter.

Can I get my company added or corrected?

Yes. Write to ciunkos@gmail.com with the KRS number and the correction.

How this ranking was made

  • 1,485companies in the data set
  • 709checked in the National Court Register
  • 454with a financial statement
  • 7,436Clutch listing positions read, paid ones marked
  • 451employee review profiles on GoWork
  • 2+months of data collection, since September 2026

The company list comes from a full read of the Clutch city listing (every page, with paid positions marked by their ppc.clutch.co links), the ITCORNER cluster, Google results and job ads. Every company was checked in the National Court Register (KRS) for its seat, legal form, capital and shareholders, in rejestr.io for revenue and profit from the latest filing, on GoWork for employee sentiment, layoff mentions and review clusters, and on the JustJoin.it and No Fluff Jobs boards for open roles and the stack they actually pay for. The 0 to 100 score is five axes with published weights: transparency, client reputation, stability, specialization, activity. A paid Clutch placement does not raise the score.

Disclosures

  • I worked at Sanddev (Wrocław) as the founding engineer of its Sandtime product until November 2026. Sanddev appears in the full table with the same score as everyone else and no editorial favor.
  • As a contractor I have talked with, or applied to, some of the agencies on these lists. None of them knew about this ranking and none of it changed a score.
  • No agency pays for a position, there are no affiliate links, and no company has seen its entry before publication. If any of that changes, the disclosure changes first.
  • My business interest is on every page: I sell senior engineering with AI agents as the alternative to hiring an agency.
  • Written with AI (Claude) from the data set. Every number in the editorial text is checked automatically against the company record or the research notes, and every top entry was read against the company’s own website. Sources and check dates are under each entry.
