Session replay
A reconstruction of what a user saw and did on a site: clicks, scrolls, page changes and errors, played back like a video.
The script records changes to the page, not a video, and rebuilds them for playback. Funnels tell you where people drop off; replays show why: a button below the fold, an error message nobody reads, a form that rejects a valid phone number. Recordings can capture personal data, so inputs should be masked and consent handled.
