PWA (progressive web app)
A website with a manifest and a service worker, so it can be installed, work offline and be packaged for app stores.
A web app manifest gives the site a name, icons and a start page; a service worker answers requests when there is no network. With both, browsers offer to install it, and Android can ship it to Google Play as a Trusted Web Activity. For the App Store, a wrapper such as Capacitor is the usual path.
