CI/CD
Continuous integration and continuous delivery: every change is built and tested automatically and can be released at any time.
Continuous integration means merging small changes often and running the build and tests on each one, so breakage shows up within minutes. Continuous delivery keeps the main branch releasable and makes deploying a button or an automatic step; continuous deployment releases every passing change without a human. Tools such as GitHub Actions run the pipeline, but the practice is the habit of small, tested changes.
