Localization (l10n)
Adapting a product to one market: translation, currency, formats, legal texts, images and tone.
Localization builds on internationalization: the code is ready, now each market gets its content. Translation is the biggest part but not the whole: prices, tax and invoices, address and phone formats, payment methods and examples that make sense locally. Machine translation speeds it up; a native reviewer still decides what ships.
