Email authentication and deliverability
Role address
An address for a function rather than a person, such as info@, sales@ or support@, often read by several people or a ticket system.
Role addresses rarely sign up for anything themselves, so in a marketing list they are more often ignored or reported as spam, and some sending platforms limit or block bulk sends to them. For replies to inquiries, invoices and other transactional mail they are often exactly the right recipient. A list check can flag them by the part before the @.
