Secrets management (leaked API keys)
Keeping API keys, passwords and tokens out of code and chats, in a store with access control, rotation and audit.
Keys committed to a repository stay in its history even after deletion, and public repositories are scanned for them by bots within minutes. Keys in frontend code are public by definition. Apps should read secrets from the platform’s secret store at runtime, each key scoped to one service and one environment.
