RFQ automation (quote automation)
An agent that reads requests for quotation, asks suppliers for prices and drafts a quote for a person to approve.
Enquiries arrive as emails with PDF, spreadsheet or scanned attachments. The agent extracts the items, matches them to products, sends price requests to suppliers, collects the answers and assembles a draft quote. A person approves every quote, and the share of items read correctly is measured on real enquiries before launch.
