Healthcare in Wrocław, ranked for 2027

Best healthcare software houses in Wrocław

Ask about medical device rules (MDR), HIPAA if you sell in the US, and HL7 or FHIR integrations they built. Health data needs a data processing agreement before any test data moves. I found 28 companies with an office in Wrocław that show healthcare work in at least one source (28 by their Clutch profile, 1 by my Wrocław catalog), and checked each in the court register, its latest filing and its employee reviews. 23 meet the ranking criteria and the 10 highest scores are below. I sell the alternative: one senior engineer working with AI agents.

In short: The highest-scoring healthcare software houses in Wrocław for 2027 are Momentum (score 86), ambiscale (score 83) and Tooploox (score 83). The 0 to 100 score combines court register data, the latest financial statement, Clutch client reviews, GoWork employee reviews and open roles on the job boards. Paid Clutch positions do not count.

Which company fits your project

  • MomentumHealthcare is 70% of client industries on its Clutch profile. Score 86, 4.9 on Clutch from 45 reviews, profit in 2025.
  • ambiscaleHealthcare is 15% of client industries on its Clutch profile. Score 83, 4.9 on Clutch from 54 reviews, profit in 2025.
  • TooplooxHealthcare is 25% of client industries on its Clutch profile. Score 83, 4.8 on Clutch from 35 reviews, profit in 2025.
  • MonterailHealthcare is 25% of client industries on its Clutch profile. Score 82, 4.8 on Clutch from 64 reviews, profit in 2025.
  • One senior instead of a teamIf the project fits one person with coding agents, compare the cost before you pay an agency margin.

The picks come from the data in the full table, not from who paid. A company enters this list when at least one source shows healthcare work; the share on Clutch is what the company declares.

The ranking

The order below is the score from five axes: transparency, client reputation, stability, specialization and activity. Here specialization measures how strong the healthcare evidence is. Weights and the full method are on the guide page.

Financial figures come from the latest filing of the Polish company. For subsidiaries of foreign groups they can be far from the size of the real business. Open the sources under each entry before you shortlist.

Momentum

Wrocław healthcare software and AI studio, formerly Applover, that builds HIPAA-ready apps and wearable integrations for HealthTech companies.

Clutch: 4.9 (45 reviews)Rate: 50–99 USD/hMin. project: 50,000 USD

Best for: Healthtech companies and clinics that need a patient app, an EHR integration or medical AI from a team that works only in healthcare.

Pros

  • Momentum reported a profit of 1.7M PLN on 25.6M PLN of revenue in 2025.
  • Healthcare apps and FHIR integrations have been its niche since 2020. The site shows an ISO 13485 certificate.
  • Clutch shows 4.9 from 45 reviews. Named case studies include LabPlus, Caily and Villa Medica.
  • Momentum publishes open-source health tools such as Open Wearables, so you can read its code before you sign.

Cons

  • Employee reviews are mixed (23 positive, 19 negative), and 12 of them mention layoffs or cuts.
  • Venture funds own the company through ASI vehicles in KRS, so investors set the growth targets.
  • Clutch lists a minimum project of 50,000 USD. Some Clutch reviews still describe Applover, the old brand.

From their website and Clutch profile

  • Applover rebranded to Momentum in 2024 and narrowed its focus to healthcare, while Clutch reviews still refer to Applover (source: https://www.themomentum.ai/about and https://clutch.co/profile/momentum-previously-applover).
  • ISO 13485 and HIPAA appear only as logos, with no certificate number or certifying body (source).
  • The site gives no headcount and cites 220+ delivered projects and 100+ healthcare applications (source).
  • The HQ address, Gen. Sikorskiego 26 in Wrocław, is the same building Droids On Roids lists (source: https://www.themomentum.ai/lets-talk and https://www.thedroidsonroids.com/).
  • Clutch reports 70 percent of clients in the medical industry, a $50,000 minimum project and $50 to $99 per hour (source).
  • The site promises a reply within 24 hours (source).

Verdict. Pick Momentum for a healthcare product in Wrocław, where its compliance work counts. Outside healthcare look elsewhere, and ask about the layoff mentions on the first call.

ambiscale

WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify agency (formerly Cut2Code) adding accessibility, data governance and security services for retail brands.

Clutch: 4.9 (54 reviews)Rate: 50–99 USD/hMin. project: 5,000 USDPremier Verified

Best for: A WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify site that has to pass accessibility (WCAG) and performance audits, for retail and e-commerce brands.

Pros

  • 4.9 on Clutch from 54 reviews, the most reviews of any small company on the list, and positive employee reviews (7 positive, 1 negative).
  • Profitable (646K PLN on 7.4M PLN of revenue in 2025) and part of the Wrocław HEXE Capital group.
  • Named Polish retail clients linked to case studies, and accessibility specialists with IAAP certification.

Cons

  • This is a web agency, not a software house: WordPress, Shopify and accessibility, not custom products or back-ends.
  • No headcount on the site, no open roles on the boards, and the Canadian office has no city named.
  • Rebranded from Cut2Code in 2024, so the brand history is short even if the company is not.

From their website and Clutch profile

  • ambiscale rebranded from Cut2Code in 2024 and belongs to HEXE Capital Group. It started as a PSD-to-HTML shop (source).
  • ambiscale has the largest Clutch review count among the small firms here (54), and its Clutch profile is 100 percent WordPress CMS (source).
  • The homepage shows big Polish retail logos (Biedronka, Żabka, OLX), but only Czas na Herbatę, Biedronka and Żabka link to case studies (source).
  • The site never states a headcount and gives no city for the Canadian office. Clutch lists Montréal and New York (source).

Tooploox

AI-first software company (owned by Solvd Inc.) building custom AI, mobile and web products for startups and research-heavy clients.

Clutch: 4.8 (35 reviews)Rate: 50–99 USD/hMin. project: 25,000 USD

Best for: Products where machine learning or generative AI is the core, with a team that publishes research and builds the app around it.

Pros

  • Lists peer-reviewed papers, patents and conference talks on its site, more AI research than any other Wrocław agency.
  • Revenue of 63.8M PLN with a profit of 1.6M PLN in 2025, and named clients such as eBay and ETH Zurich.
  • 4.8 on Clutch from 35 reviews and still hiring AI engineers on the boards (2 open roles).

Cons

  • Owned by Solvd Inc. (USA) since the acquisition, so it is no longer an independent Wrocław company and decisions are made abroad.
  • Employee reviews are negative (13 positive, 22 negative) and 8 of them mention layoffs or cuts; expect rotation on your project.
  • The site gives only an R&D headcount of 40+; the total team size is not stated.

  • Tooploox lists 30+ peer-reviewed papers, patents and contributions to NeurIPS, ICML and ECCV, the longest research record in the set (source).
  • Tooploox is now a Solvd Inc. company and no longer an independent Wrocław firm (source).
  • The site gives only an R&D headcount of 40+ engineers and researchers and no total team size (source).

Verdict. The place in Wrocław for hard AI problems. For a plain web product the research premium buys you little, and the employee reviews are a real warning about continuity.

Monterail

Product design and software studio (Vue and Nuxt partner) building web, mobile and AI products for global brands since 2010.

Clutch: 4.8 (64 reviews)Rate: 25–49 USD/hMin. project: 10,000 USDPremier Verified

Best for: A funded startup or a brand that wants a known Wrocław name with a big public portfolio, a US office and official Vue and Nuxt partner status.

Pros

  • The largest public portfolio in the city, with named brands such as Pizza Hut, Merck and Polaroid, and 4.8 on Clutch from 61 reviews.
  • Profitable in 2025 (1.2M PLN on 29.3M PLN of revenue) and owned by the founders’ family foundations, so no foreign parent.
  • Official Vue and Nuxt partner, with offices in Chicago and Berlin for clients in those markets.

Cons

  • Employee reviews are mostly negative (6 positive, 16 negative) and 10 of them mention layoffs or cuts; growth by acquisition brings integration pain.
  • Zero open roles on the job boards at the last snapshot, which is unusual for a company of this size.
  • Declared rate band of 25 to 49 USD on Clutch is below the Wrocław norm; ask who works on your project and at what seniority.

From their website and Clutch profile

  • Monterail has the biggest public portfolio in the set, with about 70 case studies naming brands such as Flink, Pizza Hut, Merck and Polaroid (source).
  • Monterail grows by acquisition, buying Untitled Kingdom (2024), ElPassion (2025) and Lakeview Labs (2025) (source).
  • Monterail is the only firm here with a US office (Chicago) and a Berlin address. It is also an official Vue and Nuxt partner (source).
  • The homepage says 400+ clients and 900+ projects, and the site never breaks these numbers down (source).

  • 4.8 on Clutch from 42 reviews, offices in Tallinn and Aarhus, 3 open roles on the boards.
  • Profitable in 2025 (905K PLN on 13.5M PLN of revenue).

Cons

  • Employee reviews are negative (3 positive, 12 negative); read them before you sign.
  • A listed company (S.A.), so the shareholders are not in the court register.

  • DO OK has offices in Tallinn and Aarhus, a Dutch branch since 2018 and a Danish one since 2019 (source).

All companies in the data set, with the same score. Companies without a confirmed office, sole traders, body-leasing firms and product companies are listed but not ranked.

Who is not in the top 10, and why

Paid placements and “serves the city” without an office

On the Clutch city list the first positions are bought with ads (links through ppc.clutch.co) or a “serves” entry. These companies have no office in the city according to KRS or their own site, so they are not ranked here.

None in this city.

Struck off the register or in liquidation

They still show up on other people’s “best of” lists. Here they appear only in the full table.

None in this city.

Body leasing, product companies and other services

Renting people into someone else’s team is a different service from delivering a project. A product company, a marketing agency or an SAP partner does not sell software projects either. They are in the full table with a label.

Too little client evidence, under 10 people, sole traders

Without 5 Clutch reviews or 2M PLN of revenue in a filing there is no fair way to compare a company with the rest. That is a data gap, not a verdict.

What they charge

On Clutch, the companies in this table most often declare 50 to 99 USD an hour. The rate is what the agency bills; the developer on your project is paid less than half of it.

For comparison, my own rate is 36 to 54 USD an hour (45 USD base, pricing). The cost estimator shows what a project like yours costs with and without coding agents.

Check any agency yourself in 10 minutes

  1. Ask about medical device rules (MDR), HIPAA if you sell in the US, and HL7 or FHIR integrations they built. Health data needs a data processing agreement before any test data moves.
  2. Find the legal entity in the National Court Register: the seat, the share capital and the shareholders. An office here with a seat in another city is a sales office, not a team.
  3. Read the last financial statement on rejestr.io: revenue, profit or loss, and whether it was filed on time.
  4. Check the VAT white list: active, and the name matches the contract.
  5. On the Clutch list hover over the company link; a link through ppc.clutch.co is an ad. Then read the reviews themselves.
  6. On GoWork read the employee reviews, not the stars, and look for layoffs and rotation.
  7. Ask who exactly will work on your project, and check those people on LinkedIn.

By clicking Send you agree that I store your request and reply by email; no newsletter. I reply within 24 hours on working days, personally. If I am late, the first hour of work is free.

How this works: I write back with my own offer and forward your brief to the agencies that fit, after you agree. As of October 28, 2026 no agency pays me for leads and this page has no affiliate links. If that changes, it will say so here.

Questions

What are the best healthcare software houses in Wrocław in 2027?

By the score on this page: 1. Momentum (86), 2. ambiscale (83), 3. Tooploox (83), 4. Monterail (82), 5. Code Poets (82). The score adds up transparency in the court register, client reviews on Clutch, profit and stability in the latest filing, specialization and current hiring. The full table shows every company checked.

How much do healthcare agencies in Wrocław charge?

Most companies in this table declare 50 to 99 USD an hour on Clutch. My own rate as a senior engineer working with AI agents is 36 to 54 USD an hour.

How do you know a company does healthcare?

From at least one of three sources: the service, industry and framework shares on the Clutch profile, the skills in open roles on JustJoin.it, or my own Wrocław catalog. Companies with two or three sources score higher on specialization. The software house finder shows the same tags for every company.

Did any company pay to be on this list?

No. There are no paid placements and no affiliate links. The only business interest is mine: I sell senior engineering as the alternative to an agency.

Can I get my company added or corrected?

Yes. Write to ciunkos@gmail.com with the KRS number and the correction.

How this ranking was made

  • 1,485companies in the data set
  • 708checked in the National Court Register
  • 453with a financial statement
  • 7,436Clutch listing positions read, paid ones marked
  • 451employee review profiles on GoWork
  • 2+months of data collection, since September 2026

The company list comes from a full read of the Clutch city listing (every page, with paid positions marked by their ppc.clutch.co links), the ITCORNER cluster, Google results and job ads. Every company was checked in the National Court Register (KRS) for its seat, legal form, capital and shareholders, in rejestr.io for revenue and profit from the latest filing, on GoWork for employee sentiment, layoff mentions and review clusters, and on the JustJoin.it and No Fluff Jobs boards for open roles and the stack they actually pay for. The 0 to 100 score is five axes with published weights: transparency, client reputation, stability, specialization, activity. A paid Clutch placement does not raise the score.

Disclosures

  • I worked at Sanddev (Wrocław) as the founding engineer of its Sandtime product until November 2026. Sanddev appears in the full table with the same score as everyone else and no editorial favor.
  • As a contractor I have talked with, or applied to, some of the agencies on these lists. None of them knew about this ranking and none of it changed a score.
  • No agency pays for a position, there are no affiliate links, and no company has seen its entry before publication. If any of that changes, the disclosure changes first.
  • My business interest is on every page: I sell senior engineering with AI agents as the alternative to hiring an agency.
  • Written with AI (Claude) from the data set. Every number in the editorial text is checked automatically against the company record or the research notes, and every top entry was read against the company’s own website. Sources and check dates are under each entry.
